DEATH OF PADDY MURPHY BARRYROE

The death has occurred of Paddy Murphy former Secretary of the Barryroe GAA Club. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family,in the exceptional care of the staff and doctors of St.Briget's Ward, St.Vincents Hospital Dublin.Paddy beloved husband and best friend of Ann.Sadly by his daughter Sinead,sons Richard andPadraig, adored grandchildren, Jack,Emily and Shay,sons-in-law Nigel and Daniel,daughter-in-law Eilish,sister Gertie,brother -in-law Joe,nieces Noreen,Carol,Jennifer and Debra,nephews Richard, Ger,Michael,Damian,Joseph and Ryan,dear Cousins,great neighbours and his  large circle of GAA friends at Club Level Barryroe, Carbery Divisional and Cork County Board level.

Reposing at his home ''Vailima'' Lislevane, Barryroe on Tuesday 13th  June from 5pm to 8pm. Reception into Our Lady Star of The Sea Church, Barryroe, at 11am on Wednesday 14th June for noon Requiem Mass and funeral afterwards to Lislevane Cemetery.

Paddy was a great servent of his Club Barryroe been Secretary from 1965 - 2015.A man of the utmost integrity,his opinion was always highly valued and respected when it came to Club affairs.

Paddy was a Barryroe Delegate to the Carbery Board Meeting where he made a huge contribution to the development of Hurling and Football not alone in Barryroe but throughout the Carbery Division.

The Carbery Board would like to extend its Sympathy to all the Murphy family and the Baryroe G.A.A Club at this difficult time.
