JOIN CORK GAA 4 JAMIE & RUN IN THE DARK!   30/10/2014

RUN IN THE DARK takes place on November 12th at 8pm in 5 cities, including Cork. This event is organised by the Mark Pollock Trust, which promotes scientific research into spinal injury.

Jamie Wall of Kilbritain has played for Cork at Minor, Under 21 & Intermediate levels, in both hurling & football, and was part of Cork's 2014 Munster Intermediate Hurling winning team.
During the summer, Jamie unfortunately suffered a spinal injury and is currently receiving ongoing treatment at the Central Remedial Clinic in Dun Laoghaire.

Jamie's Cork playing colleagues and mentors now want to highlight his situation by getting a large team from Cork GAA circles to represent him in the RUN IN THE DARK on Wednesday 12th.

A team has been set up called CORK GAA 4 JAMIE & we want 100 people to run, walk or jog the 5k or 10k. You can join our CORK GAA 4 JAMIE Team by contacting 086 8118641 for the password & logging onto www.runinthedark.org/cork to enter. Entries are only allowed on line & YOU MUST REGISTER BY THURSDAY 30TH OCTOBER.

It's €27 per entry, which goes to the Mark Pollock Trust.

As the Run is almost full, there is a limit of 2500 runners, we need you to enter BY THURSDAY NIGHT- OCTOBER 30TH.
