As a result of their marvelous displays in capturing the Tadhg Crowley Cup, the Carbery Rangers Senior football team was voted ''The Buckley Financial team of the Month'' for February 2010.

Since its inception early in 2007, the Buckley Financial Carbery GAA Team of the Month Scheme has endeavored to reward the GAA team that has proven to have excelled at their particular grade in that particular month.

This award has been presented every month to teams from the West Cork Area who have been judged to have produced the goods in their particular grade and done their club,their parish and their division proud.

Open to all adult teams from Club,College and Divisional level the award scheme is designed to reward success on the field of play by Carbery Teams from minor level to senior and covers hurling,football,handball,scor,and also ladies football and camogie.
