Plunketts Junior A hurlers face O Donovan Rossa in the Junior A hurling championship on Friday evening July 29th. The game will be played in Ballinacarriga at 7:30pm. Please come out to support the lads in this quarter final tie.
Then on Sunday August 7th Plunketts play Castlehaven in the Junior A football championship. That game is to be played in Clonakilty at 3:30pm. As usual please check locally or check the fixtures link at http://plunketts.cork.gaa.ie/ as fixtures may vary nearer to the scheduled date.
Plunketts weekly lotto draw took place on Monday July 25th in Lyre Bar with the jackpot at €2300 on the night. There was no winner of the jackpot on the night. The numbers drawn were 20, 35 & 39. Spot prizes were drawn also on the night. Mick Donovan won €20 in the in house draw. From the lotto entries that night, the following have each won a spot prize of €20: Emma Punch c/o seller Pat Buckley; Eoin O’Sullivan, Gurranes; Jackie Magnin, Ahiohill; Sean Crowley, Ahiohill. Next week's draw is due to take place in the Four Winds Bar, Ahiohill on Monday August 1st, with the jackpot at €2400 and I hope to have the results next week.
