Great Victory For Carbery Under 15 Hurlers In Premier 1 League
CARBERY UNDER 15 HURLERS V BLACKROCK IN THE PREMIER 1 HURLING LEAGUE Round 1 2026
Carbery played Blackrock in the Under 15 Premier 1 Hurling League at Church Road on Tuesday, 16th April, 2026.Playing with the breeze in the opening half, Carbery led 4-8 to 1-5 at half-time.Blackrock went on the offensive in the third quarter and reduced the lead to 4-9 to 2-10.However some astute changes by the Carbery mentors saw Carbery regain the initiative and they ran out winners by 5-14 to 4-11 after a very satisfactory display.
Carbery’s next game in this competition is against Ballincollig at Newcestown on Thursday, 30th April.
Thanks to Cork County Rebel Óg for facilitating Carbery to take part in the Premier 1 Under 15 Hurling Competition which will help in a big way to developing Hurling in the Carbery Division. Also thanks to G.D.A.S Niall Mc Intyre ,Paudie Crowley and James Mc Carthy for the work they are doing in developing these player’s. A special word of thanks and appreciation to the selectors involved.
